My uncle brought me a Macbook 2.4Ghz (late 2008) like 15 days ago, but he'll give it to me 24 Dic. And i'm worried about a screen problem that you can see in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8-y26HkQ0E
You guys have this 'problem' with the new Macbook too?

    (Sorry for my english :()

No. That's strictly a MB Pro "feature." The new MB won't do that.

My 2.4 GHz Macbook does not do this. I don't think you need to worry. From what I've read, however, the new Macbook's magnetic latch is a little weaker than the previous model though. If you hold it upside down it will open open slightly, but the hinge is stron enough not to let the screen flop open.

Don't know. It appears to be designed that way due to the weight of the glass panel. It is a bit annoying but not a flaw per se. Not a super big deal and I've been using mine with very few accidental closings.

The hinge on my 2.0 Al-MB is solid as a rock. No problem at all.

I don't see why it's a big deal really. Most likely you won't use the laptop in that position so I don't think you should worry.

Yeah, but you're buying a 2000$US laptop, so...

Yes, I would expect my MacBook not to do that also. $2000 is quite the sum if you ask me.
