Wow i ordered my apple watch on April 25 and its coming during May 20 - 28. Stainless Steel with white sports band

I feel your pain OP. Watch out for the haters .

----------

It's perfectly reasonable that OP, along with many others, is upset.
Not only is this a big purchase for most people (especially those of us buying the SS, who coincidentally, seem to be the majority of the ones waiting), but this whole experience has been nothing short of degrading. Having us up in the middle of the night to fork over a large sum of money for a very slim chance at getting the product on launch day.

And don't say we knew about the window when we ordered. For days up until pre-orders went live, Apple made it seem like we could do in store pick-up and there was never any mention of a two week window. And in the moment, no one had time to look at these details or question them; otherwise we'd have to wait even longer for the watch.

Truth. Apparently we need to confirm to people's feelings here because they get mad if we express any sort of frustration...

Literally no movement AT ALL on my order since I placed it back at midnight back on preorder night...

I come here every day, checking my order status every second, it has never been this bad.....

Every apple product launch, i've gotten my device ON launch morning if not earlier (iphone 4)

I almost want to cancel my order now, i'm getting so frustrated and i'm already irritated that I stayed up that night for nothing....At least charge me, do something to reassure me that my order will be here sooner rather than later.......

You'll get it by the predicted date. Simple as that.

What? They knocked on your door and woke you up? And then robbed you?

I'd file a police report.

Then cancel.

I think the question has become, "How many venting frustration threads do we need before they become repetitive and unnecessary?"

or how many people decide to jump on anybody who voices any type of frustration over the process......yes the window was May 13-27 for many of us initially.....and yes that was always the case......but now people who initially had later dates and ordered much later are receiving their merchandise while those of us who had a particular configuration in mind are still in limbo.......I don't understand why people have a hard time understanding frustration vented........you are a tough crowd!!!

Haha exactly... Like I said pot calling the kettle black.

Let me walk through the mechanics of MacRumors as I have witnessed them:
  1. A topic is posted. It may be user originated or it could be the comment thread for a front page article. People reply, comment, reply, comment, and the result is one of many active threads.
  2. A new topic is posted. This one is user created but very similar to the previous thread. Suddenly you have the same information being repeated in two different threads or in some cases, two groups arriving at very different answers to the same question.
  3. The threads come to the attention of a MacRumors moderator.
  4. The moderator decides to either combine the two similar threads or close one and redirect traffic to the other.
It is fine to be frustrated. It is perfectly okay to express and even vent that frustration, but clogging the forum with one frustration thread after another is overkill. Just as clogging the forum with one repeating topic after another would be.

It's totally understandable to be upset at the delay, but if it makes you cancel the order then I would say you didn't really want it to begin with, and just wanted to be a part of the initial excitement. Maybe you should be grateful.

Maybe he's "tempting" the people who ordered to cancel and secretly he keeps his order in hopes that it comes quicker ;)

Did the OP have a delivery window of 4/24-4/28? If so then I agree that they should definitely complain to Apple.

Cancel it...that will make it arrive faster

...I ordered mine at 3:07am ET and it sucks that I didn't receive it on Friday 4/24, but it will be here before I know it (5/13-27) and all will be well in the world.

My Order was late OP so I picked up the phone and let them have it.... Simple. Don't treat my business like crap. Do not settle for bad treatment.

Btw it came today... 2 days behind schedule.
