Those pictures at the bottom where your holding the phone with just two fingers and a thumb, I could and would never hold a $600 phone like that. When I try it it feels like the phone is on a teeter totter. I have to use my ring finger and pinkie on one corner to provide full support for the phone.

It's so silly and stupid anyways to be talking about how we do, and how we should hold our mobile phones, this should not even be a discussion for such an expensive device. Way to go :apple:

It was actually just my thumb and index finger; but I would never hold my phone like that - just did it to demonstrate the antenna thing.

I've honestly tried smothering my iPhone with boths hands all along the antenna to block the signal but to no avail, my iPhone has absolutely no problem with signal loss.

i hold my phone the same way, that seems like the most natural way to me. I dont see how else people would hold it... Like you, i have NEVER had a problem with my signal on my iP4. With or without a case on it. :D

Not everyone's hand is the same size or shape.

Shouldn't you just be able to pick up a phone and expect it to work regardless of how you hold it?

Whether I'm holding the phone to make a call or browsing the Internet or messing with apps, I have no loss in reception at all.

IMO everyone is making a mountain out of a molehill. I'm with Jobs, it's not a big issue, sorry.

I hold my phone like I always had, cupped in my left hand. I never noticed, but my skin touches the special spot. However, I have no loss of signal issues, anywhere I go, and I don’t live in a big city with lots of towers. Based on the volume of members complaining of problems, I don’t think it’s a non-issue, but it’s not an issue for me.
