Can't see how it's an embarrassment when you're using one of the two best phones on the market right now.
 
I think the only thing more annoying than hearing about the bending issues at work is reading about them here.

This forum is the main reason this is a viral news story.

It's called Click Bait. And both the Apple Zombies and the Apple Haters fall for it. Did you by any chance notice any ads on those webpages with the stories?

All my friends are laughing at me because a joke is going around about a bendable iPhone 6. This is why I have hung myself. Please sell all of my Apple stock and burn this note upon reading. Thanks and I love you all but i just couldn't take a joke. P.S. Kids are so mean. I wish someone could have just held me and told me I was amazing.
 
I don't care what others think. All that matters is what I think. It's MY phone, not YOUR phone. Or THAT GUY's phone. It's mine. I paid for it. I'm using it. My opinion is all that should matter (to me).
 
I just tell people that a Ferrari and a Porsche will also bend if placed in the care of an idiot. :) People usually just look at me for a minute before walking away.
 
I just bought mine today at a Best Buy and Everybody new about it, and the twelve pluses they got in stock were sold within thirty minutes. Even people there for something else, when hearing that they had some in stock bought one. Twelve Verizon pluses gone like that, mid day, every one knew, and everyone bought one. They also bought the strongest case they could find as well.;)

I wouldn't worry about it, generally, people make fun of Apple iPhones anyways.

So, your phone bends. It wouldn't be a news story if it weren't the most singular popular brand of phone.

I'm pretty sure that Apple knew that the phone was prone to bending under the right circumstances but figured that it wouldn't be an issue. (They do test for physical sturdiness and rigor).

I wonder if they will acknowledge the issue. Its getting a ton of press... Peter Jennings was talking about bendable iphones on the national news tonight!

Nope you're wrong, the plus is more susceptible to bending because of the aluminum used, how thin it is, and awkward size.... Let's just say any phone bends under the right amount of pressure... Well your plus will bend under far less pressure than those and that my friend is faulty design.

For anybody that has people who bring it up to them, challenge them to bend your phone right in front of you. See what they say. It's your device and they should just respect that.
