I just downloaded version 2026.01.23 of the Basalisk browser for my Intel Mac running Lion and I noticed this in the release notes....

"Added basic support for building on Mac PowerPC (still a work in progress)."

... THAT looks exciting!

This is fundamentally similar to PowerFox or White Star (all are UXP codebase). It's great to have more people working on that, especially if one of the developers wants to take on the challenge of supporting <10.5

2026 is turning out to be a banger year for PowerPC! It might be fun to do some sort of "State of PPC" later in the year, I believe late August at some point is the 20 year anniversary of Apple stopping sales of the Power Mac G5 and officially signaling the completion of the Intel transition?
