And if memory serves me right, this is Marvel's first film featuring the magic aspect of the universe.

That was hilarious! What I'm loving about the Marvel stuff lately, is that they don't take things too seriously. The great thing about that is that it makes it more believable. Can't wait to see Captain America. If Thor is any indication, it's going to be amazing.

I couldn't agree more on both accounts! Captain America is the next big film I can't wait to see!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure it's not magic, but just a sort of science that's beyond our understanding right now ;)

I too saw it, and loved it. and would like to see it again.

Alright, everyone here has convinced me to see the film. Actually I had planned on seeing it anyway. Might catch it at the $3 theater if it gets there.

Enjoyed it, but not as much as everyone else apparently
Thought it was good, but thought both Iron Man movies were better
And Spiderman 1 and 2

It was different, and I expected more action on earth and not as much in the other realms

But I liked it very well and thought it was a good addition to the tradition

One of my favorite parts of the movie is when Hawkeye says that was about to rooting for thor as he had the arrow pointed at him lol

One was great, but two not so much in my book. I liked Thor a lot better then IM2.......

Meh. Hard to take a movie seriously that has freeze giants as the main enemy. Ruins the realism marvel has been building up in iron man and hulk. From science to science fiction.

From science, really?

Yup. Where's the magic or supernatural elements of Iron Man or Hulk? One is a man using science to become a superhero on purpose, the other, a science experiement went wrong and a man became a superhero.

That's the story though. That's who Thor is- an alien.

Of course it is. Just my humble opinion on why I thought it doesn't work with the Avengers universe they have been creating for the last few years with the other movies. Even Captain America will be about a science-created superhero. Thor doesn't fit.

Thor is in the Avengers in the comics. Why leave him out for the movies?

Cause I didn't like it. Really have no better answer then that. I never read the comics and thought it didn't fit it in well with the whole Avengers team they are building. No biggie. For the record, never understood the Superfriends. didn't like the mix of aliens like superman and regular to it yourself superheroes like batman.
