Since I made the decision to keep my 4S, I put a Mophie Juice Pack Plus on it. While that's a common accessory, it made realize is just how uncomfortable my 4S was to hold. By having the gently curved rear edges, it's a real pleasure to hold.

If Apple decides to allow J. Ive to create a fresh new style in the years to come, I bet it won't be a flat slab. Even the 3S had a shape that was both attractive, and comfortable to hold.

I must say, I simply cannot understand why others find a plain, rectangular, flat slab glass sandwich so attractive. Anyone could create something so plain.

I'm looking forward to iOS 6.

I fly a lot an find passbook interesting. Not having the ticket isn't a big deal, however it updating gate changes will be useful. Plus I'm sure more then just Starbucks will adopt it.

Maps are a long time over do. I'm not too concerned with 3D views and all that I just want turn by turn. The current maps are actuate enough but I only use them to pin point or walking directions in cities....

Updated Siri, I'll take it.

Facebook integration, that's another long time over do.

Photo stream sharing with a certain group. I think this is a neat idea but I already group imessage my friends I want to see certain pictures. However this will be neat because it seems likes I'm always scrolling back looking for certain pics.

Facetime over cellular, meh I doubt my crappy CDMA 3G can keep up but whatever.

FINALLY updated safari and mail app....thank god!!! Easier to add pics in emails, full screen view in landscape in safari.

Updated find my friends, I actually use that lol.

While it doesn't look absolutely amazing, I'm surprised there are so many people that don't want it. Nearly every update effects me for the better. I'm really hoping there are so mild tweaks to imessage but I'll just have to wait and see....

Wirelessly posted

Regarding analogies to the 3G; it always had a pitifully slow CPU. The performance problem was compounded by the intriduction of multitasking.

Using this as a generalization for refusing to update a 4 or 4s doesn't really translate.

Don't know if I will get the new iPhone or not yet. Either way, I will update my 4S to iOS 6.

Already have developer iOS 6 on my 4. Will go iOS 6 on my ATT/factory unlocked 4S and keep that.

My anniversery is Jan 2013 so most likely will get iPhone 5 for LTE. Will keep others for programming.

Hey Irish Rose :)

Yeah I'll feel ok upgrading my software. I don't think a 4s will run slower with it. They are pretty powerful. Enough for me Atleast.

I'll definitely upgrade my iPhone4S to iOS6 as I read many good reviews about it running on the 4S. Heard that the benchmark and performance improved a lot especially on web browsing.
I think the 4S is powerful enough to handle iOS6.

I wouldn't get the new iPhone any time soon as I just bought my 64GB 4S at a whopping 2700MYR (870 USD) from Apple in my country. I don't understand the whole longer screen fiesta since it is just an increase of half an inch. Maybe I'm just trying to justify my purchase.

True. But no company did.

Hi Viewfly. Good to see ya over here. :)

Precisely

And that's because only Apple could foist off such a bland design, assuring maximum profit for Apple.

Apple is a very clever company that knows just how much their customers will accept and gives them nothing more. Why spend the money to create a stylish phone, when your customers will accept less & fawn over it.

Little did I realize two decades ago, that the extremely affordable stock I was buying year after year with enthusiasm, would climb to the stratospheric prices of today. Apple's clever method of extracting the most money from each customer has served shareholders very well indeed.

So, when the consumer side of me finds Apple getting cheap, the investor side of me celebrates. I get to laugh all the way to the bank too.

Hell yes. If for nothing else, for the maps and Facebook integration. I can't remember all the goodies in iOS 6, but I never shy away from upgrading the OS. I just hope the 5 doesn't come with some Siri-like feature that I can't use on my 4S because it's a whole year old.
