FWIW, I'm on a 4S and was using the 'old' unlimited plan up until yesterday, when I called to change it over. Haven't noticed any significant changes.

My wife is on an i4 and is using the unlimited plan for 4S with no issues.


I think they're the same exact plan.

You could swap SIMS again and do more tests :cool:

I was ordering online and paraphrasing it:

If you move away from the Unlimited plan, you cannot go back to it. However if you have it already, you can stay on it under your new contract. Basically you are grandfathered in, but if move away, you can't come back.

Actually, this isn't 100% true. The caveat is emailing at&t from their website and plead your case. It'll be reviewed based on your spending habit with them and if you've paid on time and how long you've been away. But they may reinstate it for you.
