Well my hinge cover is flexing and the battery cover is loose. I just didn't really have a reason to go before.

As a side note, the loose battery cover can be fixed by adjusting the tabs on the cover. Worked for me. 😉

Why are Apple users so happy to get the shaft for Laptops that cost 50% more than PC equivalent hardware - yet the moment someone releases new software a month after they bought something else, THEN, they feel hard done by.

Basically have afforded the 50% more by saving the cash by not blowing it on the software theydve got for bugger all had Apple waited a month to include it with their new hardware. Savvy?. Its a double coup for Mr. Jobs. Get their cash for the new Alu macs .. keep schtum about the new software which we really SHOULD have included by waiting a month ... then hit em twice. I mean - they really asked for it - by affording our overpriced stuff in the first place!.


How could I have been so narrow minded and been so daft as to sell off my crystal ball before I went ahead and coughed up the readies for the Macbook in ..... DECEMBER!!!!

Moral: If you are thinking of getting a new Mac ... please wait til January! 😡

I think the worst part is that Christmas is probably one of the busiest mac sales periods of the year. We pay quite the premimum to begin with to buy a mac and then a month later they ding you for another $100.
