I've read the information and, IMO, weak at best. But anyway I was only saying why comparisons are made. I'm not saying the company is in the same playing field. I'm not saying one is better or worse. Just that all companies have issues and often times it is hard for companies to immediately rule out foul play. I dont think it's fair to say Samsung ignored this. The phone has been out a month and has been recalled twice. Just my opinion. We have information that says Samsung had information and choose not to act. Not only that, but rather than helping a customer who's phone burst into flames, questioned whether he would actually file a lawsuit or not and whether or not to help him. Samsung as a company is a slimy piece of crap. We have enough information to go on to make an informed decision on that. They are indeed...shady as hell
There's a great article that breaks down the reasons these things can happen In a simple but concise manner. It too mentioned the possibility of a rushed product. It also talks about a design flaw potential (both physical and software) as well as simply faulty manufacturing of the battery itself. IMO one of the better articles out there because it examines possibilities of what caused this without immediately pointing fingers. When the chips fall and Samsung is to blame, so be it. I think we are prematurely pointing fingers. I'm trying to remain obvjextice as possible. This, despite having not owned a Samsung product in over ten years.
