I can guarantee they will have prototypes running with an all glass keyboard like the iPads. If there’s haptic feedback involved, I’d be really interested to see just how that feels.

And imagine how thin the laptop could be

No thank you. Lenovo tried and it’s a big nope. I mean just look how crap you type on the iPad vs a normal keyboard, that should tell you everything about how it won’t work.

Once full reviews of the 2018 Yoga Book are out later this year we'll see how well they've made a flat keyboard feel, some initial impressions here and on lots of sites from a couple of weeks ago

I can see it working pretty well but only if the keyboard is on a stand at the proper angle like a normal desktop keyboard.

I honestly don't see how it can work well, it still is doomed in having to use "AI" to autocorrect your typing.

It is probably fine for casual typing as it is on iPad's, but if you write or code a lot, or even perhaps for gaming, it will fall behind the norm.

I do like the all e-ink tech though and hopefully all keyboards have that in the future (and may be a way to finally replace the touch bar).

I got to give some contrast , as someone who is not an English speaker from birth, I find the words suggestion on the Touch bar extremely helpful at times.
