Thoughts on Macbook revisions

With recent releases of reasonably priced Quad-core mobile processors and the up and coming USB 3.0 @ CES 2009, would it be wise to hold out for now on buying a new Macbook and wait for revisions with this new technology, especially after MacWorld?

Not really, they aren't going to be updated for a little while, price-wise maybe but not technology-wise.

MacBook revisions (like the one just now in October) are going to be more Apple controlled. This means notebook events (like the one in Oct) are going to be more common. I envision 2 MacBook events per year at maximum. Sometimes 1 per year. Apple likes to go steady at its pace.

I think the soonest you will see a refresh will be next fall for new processors, we could only wish it was sooner🙁
