Thoughts on Voltus? (power + hub)

Seems like it solves my only two qualms with the rMB- battery life and no USB ports.

Got it- thanks! Just pledged, pretty excited to finally have an externally battery for my laptop. Should come in handy on the plane.

Personally I think it`s overpriced for the functionality, add in HDMI or DP the Voltis would be far more compelling, as it is it`s just a battery with USB pass-through.

As for the battery, my old 5000Mhz battery pack with 2A outlet can do the basic rescue work

I pledged because it looks like a nice gadget to have on long haul flights where the don't offer any power. The added USB is nice to keep other devices charged. I'm not missing the HDMI, but I guess it's useful for people giving presentations - which I don't. Maybe there's a way to daisy-chain it with Apple's USB/HDMI adapter.
