I think every post in this thread is a compliant. 🤣
Why do you suppose that would be?
It's almost like folks aren't enjoying the forced visual change for the sake of change.

That GarageBand icon is an absolute abomination. Not only is that guitar missing a bridge, everything about its shape and the way the color is applied, is completely off. It looks like an icon for some malware garbage that will trick you into paying a weekly subscription.
I know someone who asked me about Hackintoshing their PC specifically for GarageBand. So it certainly has its audience.Isn't Garage Band the first app everyone deletes from their iPhone?
4 shareholder downvotes for your blasphemy!Amazing, 3 Trillion $ company. Updating icons months after updates. Going the microsoft road i see
Sharing personal preferences? Downvote! (really smh at that one)would have preferred to see the 26.1 releases today ...
This is the first year I haven't upgraded iOS and, the longer I wait, the happier I am that I'm still on iOS 18.Please just don't force them on us users who are sticking with iOS 18 because of Liquid Glass.
I've already deleted Apple Support because they glassed the iOS 18 icon. Guess I won't bother updating these apps at all.
And, there’s a question every other week it seems on Reddit.I know someone who asked me about Hackintoshing their PC specifically for GarageBand. So it certainly has its audience.

I suppose it's because some people are happiest when they have something to complain about.😁Why do you suppose that would be?

If you care about privacy, stability, security and compatibility, there aren’t that many. There are plenty of competitors out there.
So basically, there are no good companies out there??If you care about privacy, stability, security and compatibility, there aren’t that many.
We could really use some more, actually.
For professionals in creative and software engineering fields that use Macs professionally, you could even make the argument that there aren’t any competitors out there. I would.
No, there are plenty of good companies out there. So basically, there are no good companies out there??
Ok I am confused. This post is about iOS and liquid glass. Not sure why you brought in macOS.No, there are plenty of good companies out there.
But there is no real alternative to macOS as a platform for certain workflows.
Personally, I wish there were some. But at this stage, given the maturity of the market, it’s extremely unlikely to happen.
If Apple are being Apple... chances are those teams who do software like iWork apps could have seen Liquid Glass for the first time when we did at WWDC... And that their development roadmap never got disrupted since inevitably, during the beta it was being changed a lot, and since release it has been changed a lot. Makes sense that they would hold off until maybe 6 months after release before implementing the current Liquid Glass, changes and all, into the iWork suite ... since it's visual and they have other stuff to be working on for it.We’re still waiting for Pages, Numbers and Keynote apps to be adapted to Liquid Glass as well. It’s almost 2026, and we’re almost 3 months in since iOS 26 was released, Apple.
Poor trillion dollar company just hasn't got enough resources. 🙄If Apple are being Apple... chances are those teams who do software like iWork apps could have seen Liquid Glass for the first time when we did at WWDC... Thank you thank you for the morning chuckle. “Vaseline Soup” is now my official name for the silly Liquid Glass appearances, and far more descriptive (and accurate!).changing an icon is just the 'denial' stage of grief, I can think of at least three apps I will burn at the stake if they force this vaseline soup *UI on me.
Yeah it’s almost as if SOME folks aren’t enjoying the changes both functional and visual. Some are.Why do you suppose that would be?

They've got the resources but they've also got a completely different means of approaching nearly every aspect of product design... planning.. collaboration. Hence you know, the trillion dollar valuation...Poor trillion dollar company just hasn't got enough resources. 🙄
