Three Ways to Read the Steve Jobs Biography

If you buy the iBooks version, you can have it on all iOS devices, so the picture is not that pointless. The point is, in this age, there are many ways to read books, with or without Apple products.

I bought it for my iPad 2 and I have been reading some of it (as much as I can stand) on my iPhone 4.

I think Steve would have wanted it that way.

I will say, as much I as I like reading it on the iPad, I still like having a book in my hands. The texture, weight, smell, etc. I guess I'm just old. :p

As a man in my 40's its hard to let go of physical media. I have tons of CD's, DVD's, more recently, Blurays of mainly kid stuff and books. I have stopped buying CD's around 2008 and have just started buying some books through iTunes the same way.

It's taken me a while to adjust, but I'm getting there. I look at it this way, the less books out there in paper format, the less trees will cut, less CD's, less plastic and petroleum will be used to make it, etc.

The shift to electronic or digital media will feel natural to the next generation.

I would get Steve jobs on iBooks & then ask Siri to read it to me. But I'd say, read me a bedtime story. That's the trigger.
