I'm just curious,

I didn't really start paying close attention to Apple's business and marketing plans until recently so my knowledge base it a bit low.

Does anyone know the reason for five days of WWDC? I know theres a ton of developer events, training, etc, but when do they schedule the Keynote?

Also, if anyone has more info about it, let me know. Trying to get as much knowledge as possible. Thanks!

Can anyone tell me what the app is with the green background and the silver coins on the Tracks information next to App services? And the smiley face with the notification? https://developer.apple.com/wwdc/tracks/

iOS has gone a long way, but is still a bit too limited to my taste. I'm really really curious to know what Apple will add to iOS 6.

It's STABLE. What more do you need? I can't say that for the Android platform... I owned one, and they're JUNK.

You obviously didn't read the ticket policy...

https://developer.apple.com/wwdc/faq/#attendance

WWDC tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Tickets (including activation codes) may not be sold, resold, bartered, auctioned, or transferred in any way. As an exception to the foregoing, requests to transfer tickets (including activation codes) among team members may be submitted to Apple for consideration at wwdc2012@apple.com. Apple reserves the right to reject any transfer requests. Any other transfers will render the ticket null and void without any responsibility to Apple.

can't you just add another person to your business account and they go but it shows your info?

You can add a developer if your business is incorporated and enrolled as a company in one of Apple's Developer programs. I wonder if those eBay sellers are legally incorporated.

If not, you can't add anyone.

The original poster was only talking about iOS. Why do you have to bring Android and compare it in every instance? Just because another product is inferior (in your perspective), that gives the superior product a pass for all the areas that could use improvement? Stability is not a valid excuse for stagnation; nothing is.

But since you brought it up, let's go there. There was a study a while back that showed iOS apps actually crashed more than Android apps. Even if you call into question the methodology of the study, and even if we take into account variance, the study reveals that the number of app crashes on the two OSes are at the very least comparable. Disregarding personal anecdotes and the like, the sample that the group conducting the study reveals that there is no huge difference between app crashes between Android and iOS like a lot of people claim. Maybe android apps crash more or maybe iOS ones do, but the difference is a lot less than day and night, like you portray in your comment.

I call your information... BS! I never had any issues! And how many of these idevices had exploits?
I crashed quite a bit with JB, but never with a stock IPSW and really, nothing to get you panties in a bunch over.

WWDC 12 Logo

I wonder what the logo is trying to tell us.
It looks like the Apple logo is made up of many little platforms. Maybe these colorful, rounded squares are to advertise the number of powerful platforms Apple has to offer to develop for. And maybe this could be an indication for the Apple TV being added to this list of development platforms.
Or maybe they're just app icons.
