Tiger is Still a Complete Mess

i boot up my computer today... and msn messenger seems to have lost its icon under 10.4.2... 😱

Delete it, download Adium or Proteus. Be happy.

If you like MSN for some reason, just re-download it, and all should be fine.

I only have two complaints about Tiger,

1) Little to no Compatibility with Dreamweaver (They did something in Tiger that completely breaks the Application)

2) Something as simple as iTunes Album Cover Screen Saver is handled by Core Image, instead of Quartz3D or Quartz Extreme, causing users of older systems to be unable to use it. (And What happened to the Application Icon Screen Saver?)

Have you tried going into the Applications folder and seeing if the main icon is OK and put that one into the dock?

Have you done a reboot? Repair permissions?

Are you using Dreamweaver MX? I have that and it seems to work ok.

My new install of Tiger has lost the msn dock icon twice. But, I guess this little prob is the price you pay for association with the big M.

tiger bugs for me...

1. sometimes a widget works GREAT, and then sometimes it just doesn't...

2. random errors when copying files to diff locations...

3. negative playcounts in itunes....
