Maybe 60% of Tiktokers are hired to scam their followers in some ways, big and small. Sometimes blatant and sometimes just bogus stuff like ‘Eat this Himalaya grass and you will increase 2 inches’

I think people have been taking the "They can't be that stupid" thing as a challenge... Why would you think anyone or any business would give you free anything without a reason???

For everyone saying Oh ha ha ha Tim Cook or Apple giving away... Yeah what are you giving away? Can I just go to your house and you'll give me your stuff or are you just greedy and selfish like Timmy?

Don't blame TikTok. The stupidity was long there before TikTok came along. TikTok just sheds more light on it.
We absolutely should blame TikTok and other social media for making it possible to spread your stupidity to millions of people. Before social media, if you had a stupid idea, it pretty much stayed within your social circle and that was that.

The nature of social media itself also incentivizes spreading ideas that get clicks for social affirmation and financial reasons.

Social media didn’t change human nature, but it allowed some very bad parts of it to become very amplified.

This totally works well with an ad I’ve been seeing a lot from TikTok recently called #TikTokTaughtMe that encourages people to rely on that platform to make good decisions. I can’t think of another social media company that’s gone to that length.
I just saw this commercial last night. My fiancée will tell me something and say “I learned that from TikTok”.

She seems rather proud of that fact like it legitimizes the platform (I’m always saying it trash) but it really only reinforces to me that Tiktok users simply read something, then confidently explain it to others… and for some reason this is supposed to make them an authority instead of some random know-it-all.

Not a fan of Trump but I wish he had followed through with his plans to shut down that horrible platform.

People that frequent that Plattform regularly don’t even realize in what a haze they are in. They are like drug addicts. Take it away for a few hours to days and see what happens.

In addition to all that has been said already, it’s possible that they are manufactured before 10/20 and have the noted symptoms and still NOT be replaced. They have to qualify based on the “small percentage” notated. I know because I work there.

I don’t have a TikTok account, but my AirPods Pro had some static in the left earbud when making phone calls. So last week, I made a genius bar appointment. They took my AirPods into the back where they tested them for about 15 minutes while I waited. The Apple employee returned and said that there were issues with both the left and the right airpods. They replaced both buds at no cost to me, and gave me a new, complete set of the ear inserts. I was to keep the original charging case. This exceeded my expectations. Ironically, there were two teenage girls there at the same time complaining about their airpods, not sure if it was TikTok related and I did not stick around to see the result of their request.

true but it's better to have it off the internet, imo. social media just truly outlined the stupidity of humanity.

“Greedy Apple”

Don’t be that serious guys, it was just a harmless joke! (Or an IQ test in some sense)
