Hi everyone, I’m a Tim Cook supporter! The way to determine if a product is good or bad is not by judging its functionality or user-friendliness, but rather by whether it made a lot of money or not. A product is good if it makes the shareholders richer. That’s what matters the most, and Cook does a great job at that. Since Apple has astronomical amounts of money, Cook is doing an excellent job with AI. Remember: functionality and user-friendliness doesn’t matter as much as making huge amounts of money. Anything Cook does that makes huge amounts of money is good. If Cook passes gas into a plastic bag, slaps an Apple logo on it, and it generates billions of dollars in profit, then that is much better than creating a new tech product that changes the world as much as the first Macintosh did.

Off base when I'm literally talking about the keyword INVESTMENT from the quote "We will make the investment to do it". He's conveying to his employees that he's worried about the money to invest into things. Steve Jobs would have simply said "we will do it". What are you talking about?
He’s reassuring the teams that Apple is committed. You’re just reading your own narrative into it.

It really isn’t that good in its current state I have to admit. I’m not excited about any AI but my husband uses a Samsung phone and he ordered some stuff. His email is intelligent enough to give him a notification in his mailbox that items are due to be delivered today. He didn’t even have to open any emails or track anything it just looked through the emails and alerted him to that. I need something like that.

This is a good example of something that people here may not be aware that they've even missing. Worse yet, argue is a gimick and "dont want that crap" on their phone. It's just an example, it's not the only example.

A lot of laypeople aren't overly interested in AI nor interested in learning how to use it, but would appreciate small features like this that improve their QOL. I don't use android enough to even know what's even possible; but each time i hear about something; i'm acutely aware that my iphone doesn't do it.

Apple have often gone on record in interviews as not being first at things, hope this helps
Why would that help?. I remember lots of instances usually in contrived addresses to the world where they have boasted about being first with something.
