Sorry but this really annoys me that they give out so many shares to Apple employees and it’s the customer who pays that’s why we pay so much for the goddamn phones And every other item because they give them millions of dollars of shares that they don’t need because they have multi millions of dollars already from their own wages and I don’t see any innovation happening at Apple in the last couple of years there behind everybody else in their screens 5G and other things. Who needs that much money I know he gives away a lot but not nearly as much is what he has and I don’t think anyone’s wage is worth that much no matter how big the company or what they did to it. How much longer can he still spear head Jobs' ideas. Its been almost 10 years, surely they are nearing the end of Steves product map. Apple TV was a big thing of his.

Jobs was a character and inspiration for many, sometimes even for the right reasons. At this point his legacy to the company holds about the same relevance as Wozniak. Time marches on.

I just don’t see Jeff Williams as the CEO of the most valuable company in the world. Seems like a nice guy, but I’m just not getting the leader vibe from him. I think Scott would have been next in line if he were still around. Craig is my favorite executive at Apple, but I don’t know if he’s interested in the position.

I don't grudge him it, but I grudge paying for devices that have so many issues, so often.

I’m not biased at all I upgrade every year but I think there’s so many other phones out there with so much better technology than what Apple offer higher quality screens fingerprint in the screen as Well as face recognition The only reason I stay with Apple is because I’m stuck in their ecosystem and I prefer their software when it doesn’t have bugs then android. I just think over $2000 for a phone is a joke if these executives didn’t take their bonuses then imagine how much cheaper our phones would be. And if you’ve got hundreds of millions of dollars where you you gonna spend it.

Apple doesn't and has never thrown specs at the phone for specs' sake. Innovation is not adding a crappy fingerprint reader under the screen and calling it a day or adding a 120mhz screen and boom...done. (I'm sure you already know this.)

And to say better technology is offered, one has to compare every last component and weight those components as to what they actually accomplish. Actually have to look at the software and see what the software accomplishes.

It's not cut and dry, at least to me, that every phone out there just works better than iphone. Your use case might be a certain phone works better for you.

But to say there is no innovation at Apple today, is just incorrect. A more correct statement, is they are innovating in ways that you don't care about.

Part of executive compensation is performance...and aside from the some of the disgruntled masses here at MacRumors it's clear Mr. Cook has performed and the board has voted on that performance with their collective corporate wallets.
