If iOS & OS X bother you so much then why don't you just go to Android, or WP and Windows 8.1? I'm not trying to provoke you; it's a serious question.

If iOS or OS X gave me so many issues, I'd switch in a second. Yes, there are a few things that I don't like about both but nothing is perfect, and nothing is a deal-breaker... So I choose not to switch.

I switched to Apple for a reason. They make Great products.

Bugs are the problem not the device. Yes I would like a bigger phone screen and a touch screen Laptop and a iPad with a keyboard and track pad.

I use my computer, Phone, iPad for Work and Home use. The devices I have worked perfectly under IOS 6 and Mountain Lion. Not all devices show the same problems, so you may not see what many are having issues with. I tend to use my devices more than the average person and expect more from Apple because I know what they have consistently done in the past.

If Apple allowed people to easily switch back to previous OS version I wouldn't be so vocal but since they don't I have to sit and wait to get my iMap email problems, Safari crashes and App store load issues resolved.

To me these issues mean I loose money and enjoyment of using my products.

I paid more for Apple products because they are the best, I expect them to live up to what they should be.

Hopefully the patches will be out soon, its been a long wait.

This seems to be a typical working day for Jony since Forstall left.

I imagine with all the Money these guys have that it would be hard to concentrate on work :roll eyes:

I'm sure there are many at Apple that still have a love for what they are doing.

Can't wait for all the "Really Great Stuff", hopefully its the stuff I have been waiting for. :)

So basically people are hating on the 5C because it's plastic, I guess forgetting the flagship 3G and 3GS were plastic. What's interesting is people who own the phone really like it; it got good reviews (aside from price) on all the tech sites. It's just people who never had intentions on buying it in the first place crapping all over it.

No, people are hating on the 5C partly because it's hideous -- the 3G and 3GS were at least attractive devices -- and secondarily, if you're going to release a device with specs a year old in a plastic shell case, you don't expect to pay just £70 less than the brand new flagship model. The 5C was just a dense idea in terms of marketing and execution.

That's dependant of course on whether you view it as a vehicle to increase market share or a cynical ploy to up-sell to the 5S. I'd say it clearly worked better as the latter.

Tim cook seems like an OK guy but he is 100% by the book and basically reads his answers right out of the handbook for CEO speak. Very dry and dull. Whatever.

"A dense idea"? That sounds like a dense idea. The 3G/Gs were plastic cased phones. The 5c has a plastic exterior with a metal undercarriage. The 5c is doing a very good job of filling the niche it was designed to fill, but apparently there are still those who simply don't get it.

5C owner, eh? That's cool I get it.

Hope they do something. Friend of mine and I walked past the Apple store today in the mall. When we thought about whether we should go in, we decided there wasn't anything really to see in there.

and that niche is?

and that niche is?

The NON 5S user base :)..The 5c is a "smart" and well thought out way of marketing the Previous gen. phone as apple has always done it..Why sell the same old 1 year old phone that had lower profit margins at a 100$ less when you could launch a flashy new plastic back phone with same internals and a higher profit margin at that same price? For it to be succesfull the 5C had to sell more than the conventional 5 would have sold...Most think it did, and with a higher profit margin to boot....

but the 5s user base is not a definite entity

whats the difference in the margin on the 5c and 5? then of course there is the r&d with the 5c to be added as well

personally i dont mind the plastic. the colors though are not for me.

Not sure exactly, but it was widely rumoured that the cost of producing the metal unibody of the 5 was expensive and as such a cheaper option (plastic) would surely negate that to a very large extent. What R&D did the 5c require? It has no basically systems in it that did not exist before it or that were not required for the 5s. Basic phone designs cost money(such as changing the form factor)..internals cost money to develop (such as the A7 and the M7)...going from a metal unibody to a plastic one hardly breaks the R&D bank :)..

I am also not down with colors..but apparently many are, as i see almost all colors represented when i see folks walking around with their 5c's.
