Audibly laughing at this. It is really messed up how things have gone since Jobs left (the mortal plane).

Messed up? You mean 1+ Billion active and repeat customers causing Apple to becoming one of the most successful consumer tech companies in the world?

Release an iPod with usb c...and the ability to sync Apple Music. Just a limited batch.

Make it an in store only purchase. Make it a special event where people can gather and share music tastes.

Don't include a free album and insult us with testing in production.

A as

the Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh was released to commemorate Apple’s 20th anniversary, not the Macintosh’s 20th anniversary.
That its true so perhaps should be phrased better when people are simply saying “50th anniversary Mac”

And going by that logic, then it could be anything from their products.

Apple could literally bank on nostalgia by selling us remakes of their old hardware, like Idk a limited edition ipod classic with modern hardware and software or bring back see through macintoshes rather than downloadable stuff. Or hey limited edition colors also!!
Is that you Tony Fadell?

I have a Mac and had a ][e back then, iPads, iPods but never an AppleTV nor an iPhone because I cant place myself in such a locked down and censored platform.
You say this, but I've tried Google Stream TV 4K and that box is clunky and buggy. (And, that's supposed to be one of the better Android TV streamers) Apple TV 4K may be "locked down" but it definitely runs a helluva lot better. And, shouldn't that really be the most important thing?

flashbacks of U2
At the 50th anniversary celebration, if any celebrity gets more attention than Ronald Wayne, it’ll be yet another of numerous examples of how clueless and mediocre Tim Cook is.

The three people who should be getting the most attention are Apple’s three co-founders:

1. Steve Wozniak (who should get the most attention)
2. Steve Jobs (who should get the second-most attention)
3. Ronald Wayne (who should get the third-most attention)

So the only two people at the 50th anniversary celebration who should be getting more attention than Wayne are Wozniak and Jobs. No one else at that event—no matter how famous or important—should be getting more attention than Wayne.

Retirement and a pledge to making working software again
I was just about to post the same thing! I no longer automatically recommend Apple to new consumers. I still wouldn't switch myself but that's only because I've been in the Apple universe for a really long time and know what to expect and how to react.

Did you legit just ask if convenance should outweigh freedoms?

Honestly, I'm one of the people that actually liked the look of the original G4 Cube.

Oh me too. I thought it was a stunning release, and boy did I want one when I saw it launched. And then they announced the price tag, and I balked.

Many label the G4 Cube a flop, but I reckon the price was its biggest mistake. Had they got that right, history might see it in an entirely different light.

But I'd like to see a 50th anniversary cube in either midnight, or space black.

Oh sure, something cooler than just a grey metal box. The AI generated image I posted certainly did not capture the beauty of the original cube. Still, with the current design of the Studio and Mini being so close to a cube, I’ve sometimes wished they had gone that way as a nostalgic wink back to the era we all loved.

I hope that means they will allow the Lego G3 iMac to be approved.

Alternatively, a follow up to the Designed in California book to cover the most iconic products of the last fifty years.
I gave it a like and then I saw it’s AI crap. Although it looks like it could easily be build from real parts. What a shame.

It’s a real Lego Ideas design that got over 10,000 supporters and is under consideration. The background is probably AI but the design is real.

This leaked on Reddit, it will release this April. And now it makes more sense why Apple updated their older iOS versions. It seems like small iPhones will be back. Hopefully they will update all the other iOS versions.

Apple has made some bungles. Liquid Glass is only the latest. But also;
The Apple Car.
That Visor thing.
Apple Intelligence in general.
Siri.
Hanging on to 8GB base RAM way too long.
Hanging on to 256 GB base storage way too long.
You forgot AirPower, Antennagate, AVP, etc.

Another Golden trophy for Trump and more features and advertisements baked into software that is so buggy it is barely useable...

Tim Cook Make it big and memorable!!!
Steve Jobs would be proud of this accomplishment. Let’s honor his memory big time
