Went to a local shop on Saturday, they didn't have it in stock and they said there was a shortage. Ordered it online and it said dispatched in 1-3 weeks. Two working days later (today), it arrived home. 
Is it possible that there isn't actually a shortage and Apple is doing this to put people off from buying now? (Due to high hard drive prices, their profits must have come down quite a bit).
