How long should the first post-install backup take? It's always a bit lengthy after a new OS, but this time around, it seems to just be stuck at the "Preparing Backup" stage, with no change in a day. Checking the logs with the aid of Time Machine Editor doesn't indicate anything wrong, though also gives no indication of any progress.

Preparing backup since Sierra pb 1.

And my fav' time machine widget which has proved very reliable to view progress of backups is since full of errors.

__weak variable at 0x7f9af9e22250 holds 0x7f9af9e20003 instead of 0x7f9af9e23320. This is probably incorrect use of objc_storeWeak() and objc_loadWeak(). Break on objc_weak_error to debug.
