Interesting challenge.

If reseting the PRAM doesn't work, then maybe try this.

System Prefs --> Date&Time --> Don't display the clock.
Shut down.
Start up.
Then display the clock.

Try resetting your PRAM. (Hachintosh use PRAM right?)

Ummm I looked around and I don't think Hackintoshes have PRAM.

Alright gonna try that now.

Edit: Nope, that didn't work either.

It seems I have stumped everyone :/ lol

Umm it was fine last night, but when I booted this morning it was like that.

So then it wasn't necessarily recent, just since last time you logged out or turned the computer off. For me, that could be weeks. If some property list has been altered, the effects wouldn't show up until the files were reloaded.

I wish I wasn't so OCD. But this is the kinda thing that drives me nuts.

It would drive me nuts too.

No it's recent. I shut down my computer every night.

If it appears correctly on other user accounts, the problem is somewhere in your user library folder. The extreme solution would be to create a new user account and copy all of your data over, then delete the one you have now.

Have you installed any new fonts?

Yeah i'm hoping I don't have to do that :(

I've installed a bunch of new fonts..would that have anything to do with it?..

Open Font Book (in Applications folder) and check if Lucida Grande is marked with a dot, if so, it means there is a font conflict, ie. duplicate Lucida Grande font file. Disable the duplicate.
