West 14th says 9am open time on Friday. SOHO said probably 9am but check back. Somehow I doubt they have the latest information. They won't launch an hour later than at&t...that feels wrong.

I agree. Almost everyone would just go to the AT&T store if Apple started selling them at 9 or 10. I wonder when the 5th Ave store will start selling them though....
Theres also one in Staten Island but ummm we have att wireless stores too lmao and fifth ave STAY AWAY!

I will arrive at 6:30am at an AT&T store. If I am within the first 20 in line I will stay. Otherwise I will go to work and download the new firmware (for my existing iPhone) and pretend I have a new iPhone 🙂
Then I will probably either take an early or late lunch and try again. Althought some AT&T stores ran out pretty quickly it was still easy to get an iPhone on opening weekend.

Leaving on a jet plane.
Definitely avoiding the NYC Apple Stores (though I'll miss the fanfare).
I plan on arriving at my local AT&T store around 6am. Though I need to be toward the front of the line because I have a plane to catch out of LGA at 12:30pm - I'd like to be able to make it home to sync with iTunes before heading to the airport.
I live in Astoria, so LGA isn't far but time will not be a luxury I can rely on.

I will show up at the apple store around 6:30 and take over for my spot holder who will be there 12 hours before. So should be up close and personal
