My first Gameboy was in 1989, before the American release date. It has 'Patent Pending' on the back, was purchased in Japan and brought over by one of the exchange students my parents hosted regularly when I was a teen.

It still works and occasionally my son renews his interest in it.

We never had game systems, even in the 80s and early 90s when all that was really big. I always had a computer so I just bought games for that.

We have a Wii we got in 2010 (I think). First dedicated game system I have ever owned.
I should go check to see if mine says Patent Pending. It's very fun to play.

Mine says Pat. Pending. :D made in Japan.

Both my NES and GameBoy say Pat. Pending. So I guess they were made in '85 and '89, respectively. Pretty cool! So technically my NES is even older than my 512ke, since that was made in '86.

One of the Parts on my Thorn Gamma 6 Street light (more specific IRC it was the NEMA photo cell socket) has patent pending on it :p

I'm starting to get the idea that maybe my Gameboy isn't so special after all, LOL!

:D

I think it can, although I am not sure of the benefit of that. It just cannot handle having two Airport cards simultaneously.

I've done this before with my Quicksilver and I can't even remember if it works or not. Maybe it's time for a experiment!

Hey I got minecraft running on a Nearly stock G3 beige... so I would say it would run on your TiBook How well it would run is another thing lol (It would run nicely on your G4 quicksilver tho as I ran MC nicely on a G4 sawtooth with a 1.5Ghz G4 CPU and the same 9800 GPU heh)

Would it run on a iMac G4 with a 1GHZ CPU and the GeForce 4MX GPU?

Will it run? Sure... will it Run smoothly? I doubt it LOL. its a case of Like leopard as Long as it the CPU (in leopards case) has altivec it will run on said PowerPC mac its just a case of how well does it run (minecraft will run on a G3 btw)
