Grrrr. I took a look at the one I bought a few weeks ago and... green circuit board. :(

Green adapters work just fine. And cost less than red ones. Yes, reds are a tad faster, but not by much - ~5MB/s tops.
As to the mSATA drives, I would recommend used OEM drives by brand name manufacturer, not something from CHN.
I tend to stick to Samsung. Pay attention to drive's current consumption.
Take a look at this thread and a couple of other posts by ssp3 during past month or so, this might answer all your questions. If in doubt, just ask. ;)

[PCMCIA-Wifi-Card works...] Only in Leopard. Tiger or OS 9 don't really see anything; I wasn't expecting in OS 9, but I thought this card might work in Tiger...
Jepp, that's what I thought would happen ... Made the same experience some time ago and took a Vonets Wifi-Ethernet-Bridge for os9.
If you have any desire for wifi in OS9, use Airport or another wifi-ethernet solution such as the VONETS adapter (search my other threads in this subforum for that). The Vonets method would in fact be the fastest wifi solution of them all, approaching near-gigabit speeds.
👍 Fully agree - works like a charm!
