I pre-ordered the 44m Black Stainless Steal model. Upgrading from Series 4.

Did consider the Titanium, but I don’t think it will suit my Black Link Bracelet.

I wish these Apple Watches could be bought without bracelets, for those of use upgrading from previous Series.

Same, it'll be my fourth watch the Space Black link bracelet has been on. :)

I chose a black sport band which will be sold along with my Series 4.
[doublepost=1568146190][/doublepost]I needed to see the Space Black titanium watch to decide if I like it. I prefer the gloss look of the SS SB and being my fourth SB watch, I know it's pretty bomb proof.

The SB titanium is DLC coated too so will be of similar scratch resistance and a bit more dent resistant, but I'm not keen on the brushed satin look.

Took the gamble and went with space black titanium this time. Still waiting for more hands on though. So far could only find this one:

That black titanium with the black leather band looks pretty sweet! That's my order. But still I also like the glossy blk stainless look. Wish there were some better close up videos.

They mentioned a DLC coated titanium also. Will like to see more about that.
Me too. If you get the DLC you can't tell it from the SS DLC . But at least all your black bands will still work. What band looks best with the standard Titanium??

It's so hard to tell with computer monitors, but it looks like the standard "warm" titanium of other watches, which is likely why they paired it with this creamy grey band. That's why I think it will clash with my link bracelet.

However, I bet it looks great on a plain black sport band.

Agreed! ....I don’t like the brushed satin look as well.

Yes, I was thinking about ordering the Titanium, mostly because I thought you would get the weight benefits of the aluminum with the durability of the stainless steel. But the weights appear to be the same. I actually decided to go with the aluminum because my rationale for going SS on the series 4 was to get a scratch proof screen, and lo and behold, I got a deep scratch on mine. Might as well just accept it’s gonna scratch and get the cheaper, lighter watch.

Not liking that. A military green would be better but not offered. I have a black and grey NATO band like James Bond wore and that has lugs that are black so it's looking like I have to go with the black DLC. That gets back to which to get the SS or Titanium. Decisions decisions..

Well I'm still leaning to the space black titanium but there isn't a good pic of it anywhere. I wonder if the coating on the black one is as durable as the space black stainless has been for me.

Both titanium watches come with a special sport band in the box in light grey / dark grey, check „in the box“

I would think it is the same. The titanium will be lighter than the SS but softer so the DLC is probably the best way to go and then all the bands with black lugs will match too.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. The watch metal appears to be "warm" grey vs. whiter looking stainless steel.

Glad it’s not just me that had that problem! My S4 SS picked up a scratch a couple months ago and it drives me nuts (although it’s not very visible when the screen is on, fortunately). I decided the opposite from you, though — I’mma try out the Ti and if it’s not an improvement over SS, I can easily trade it in.

I’ll happily continue to support the stainless model Apple Watch, I prefer the weight and overall look.

I really like the look of the titanium one but will wait to see it in real life. My SS S3 is fine and I wasn’t intending to upgrade this year but the always on display is tempting and if I like the titanium that might seal the deal.

My S3 black stainless steel got a crack in the screen a few weeks ago. Definitely thinking about the black titanium as a replacement
