My biggest issue is lag while typing. The white keyboard is ok-ish, but the dark keyboard is one mess. Compared to iOS 6 keyboard which i still can access in older apps is like night and day in terms of speed.

No 'Forward' in Notes? No Shuffle All in a Genre? No unlock sound but there's a lock sound (Really, who was the genius that thought of that)? 'Classic' tones, but some aren't even the original tones. I haven't found a 'repeat' for alerts either.

Text size is still all over the place.

Which is unimpressive.

Your concept of basic functions to me is more of "needs some polish". What I'm curious about is if the final release may be a bit different than GM or not. Personally the lack of unlock sound is driving me batty as well

get over it, it will be released as it is with the devices next week and work continues as we speak on 7.0.1.

simple as that.

So, before the argument was "It's a beta."

Now it's "Get over it."

Got it.

The GM isn't for iPad, it's for iPhone and iPod Touch (not 100% sure on the latter, but it makes sense). The iOS7 for iPad will likely come out next month.

According to my developer portal, the GM is also for the iPad.

Bingo. It's what people say when they don't really have anything to say but still somehow feel the need to add something for some reason.

Very unimpressive to be exact. And the fact SHUFFLE from GENRE is missing still annoys the hell out of me, actually the entire new music app does...

If I didn't have terrible cell coverage most of the day, I wouldn't even use the music app. Plex >

That doesn't change the fact that it's not beta anymore and it's what everyone is getting as the released version of iOS 7.

Of course, but he wasn't disputing that, just that to him, it feels like it's beta-quality.

I bet you have :apple: sticker(s) on your car, don't you?

lol no, but i know how SW dev lifecycle usually go.
point releases such as .0 are usually rushed, many bugs didn't reach the bar or are cut off for initial releases.

simple, one just has to be patient.
