I've been on this forum all day fighting the good fight. Telling you how Apple and especially Tim Cook were the masters of operations and logistics. That those who had a 4/24 - 5/8 ship date didn't really matter as they were going to get their watch. But in every thread a lot of you were putting the rest of us down saying that we should pay attention to the 4/24 - 5/8 ship dates that Apple was well within in their rights. But you know that Apple tracks their inventory meticulously. If you've done your research you would know that upon Steve Jobs return to Apple he reworked the supply chain and inventory.

But your negative thoughts and aptitude have been ridiculous. I just wanted to toot my own horn and prove that I was right. That everyone who ordered a watch in the middle of the night in the initial wave will get one tomorrow.

big ****** deal. I had the same watch and a tracking number for it 2 days ago. The SS BSB that I ordered however nada. Show me a tracking number for one of those or a Pink Sport band and then you can toot your horn.

Easy tiger......I have a 42mm Apple Watch Stainless Steel with Black Sports Band that will not be arriving tomorrow.....Lots of others would be in agreement as well, whether that's a model similar to mine, or others....Bottom line, I have until 5/8 if it doesn't show up before complaining about anything.

You're incorrect. I ordered a 42mm Space Gray Black Sport, confirmation at xx:17 and will not be getting my watch tomorrow. Still processing, no charge.

There is no way for you to know that. Many of us are still in processing for a 4/24 - 5/8 delivery window. Odds are not all of us will see it tomorrow.

Yes congrats to all the kids with reflexes like spiderman.

The rest of us post 12:03 second wave folks can't see the small screen anyway. :D

easy for someone who has their watch shipping tomorrow. but for us who have noting this just empty words. but for my love apple i hope i'm wrong and i get my watch tomorrow.

No, of course we're not all getting them tomorrow. I have a 38mm SG on the way, some day. I'm sure I'll get it, I'm betting before my shipping window of May 8. And I ordered "late" with a confirmation email at 12:20.

However. The vitriol, anger, ridiculous comments I've seen on here make me ashamed to be part of this community. Never have I seen a bigger outpouring of entitled, selfish, whining brats in one place before.

Seriously, grow up people. I came here because it was a fun community while I waited for my 6+ (there was some misplaced anger then too, but nothing like this).

Congrats!

No love for me though. 3 watches and none saying anything other than 'processing.'

:(

How are ppl ordering more than two watches? I tried ordering more than two, and I get an immediate cancellation from Apple. They say two per iTunes account when I order.

The online rollout is not as good as the in store launch for one reason alone.

Choice.

The online rollout is one frustratingly long virtual line you must to wait in.

The in store roll out was many shorter lines where chances and ability to change your mind at the POS were greater. And you had the choice to order on line.

In the end the in store/online launch was better for the customer and the online only launch was better for Apple.

This is pure speculation but it also seems the new head of retail has not come up with an in store selling strategy in time for the launch.

Good for you. My pre-order was confirmed 4 minutes after pre-orders went live. 4/24-5/8 delivery. No charge, still processing. No idea when it will come. Enjoy your watch from a naysayer.

Same here. 42MM SG Sport with black sport band. 4/24-5/8 with a 3:04 am EDT CONFIRMATION and NO movement as of yet. Still processing...still waiting. No charges...no nothing except the EOD last night. NY location...

Doubt there is still hope this evening...

Just a bit disappointed.

Joe

Yeah, no, this is a crappy launch.

People who ordered within the first 10 minutes of pre orders should be getting a watch on launch day, if they're not it's a screw up, there's no other way to look at it.

There's just no way you can give yourself a 2 week launch day window, then have a 2 week delivery window, after having this thing hang around for months and months.

It's botched or broken or whatever you want to call it.

Obviously they over-estimated their ramp up ability drastically and I fault them for not being transparent throughout the process. Sending an email to people 36 hours before a product was supposed to launch is amateur hour - had an Apple competitor done this, this forum would have eaten them alive whenever possible.

Amen to that.

you're wrong. 38mm space grey sports. 3 minutes preorder confirmation. NOTHING.

Another odd "side effect" of ordering online is this weird sense of competition with other Apple fans, versus the sense of camaraderie you get by lining up with people. Additionally, waiting in line all night feels like "work" so you feel like when you get it, you somehow earned it. Ordering online turns everyone (myself included) into whiny, entitled and ungrateful people. I don't like that feeling. Given the choice, I would much rather line up.
