I am so happy with the size of my 6 plus! I upgraded from the iPhone 5 and I'm so glad I did! After a few days I adapted to the larger size and have had no issues! #satisfiedcustomer

I was waiting to see what the Nexus 6 was going to be all about, but once i heard it was a 6" screen, i chose the iPhone 6.

I find this outrageous and anal-retentive post to be a little bit offensive. Not only towards the OP, but also to fotomarc's own intelligence, specially considering that this forum is, oh surprise, about non-Apple alternatives (i.e. Android mainly).

In a globalized world one should support what works better – and not based on nationalities. It's not like the US and Korea are in war, aren't they?

This is about multinational companies, people. The nationalism bs doesn't work anymore. Do you really think Tim Cook is fully committed to pay as much taxes as possible?

Regarding the main topic here, I prefer a 4" screen or even the original 3.5" screen with a decent OS (iOS 6), but I must be in a very rare minority. I'd never use a Samsung Galaxy alternative, at least until they stop making cheap plastic designs and huge devices that they have no problem calling phones while they look more like frigging tablets. 🙂

I think it's great that Apple decided to try larger screen sizes and offered 2 different options to boot. I agree, the 6 plus seems a little too large, especially with the larger bezels on it. Not to say its wrong. I think a lot of people would find it perfect. Personally, I like the design of the LG G3 because they reduced the bezel as much a possible with a large display giving the phone a smaller footprint than competing models with the same size screen. Just commenting on the phones physical design and not their particular implementation of the OS. Haven't tried the phone so can't comment on how it performs, though I am a fan of both IOS and Android.

With regard to the nationalism, regardless of where the brand originates, the phones are all assembled in China. With regard to hardware sales, a majority of the cost will go to where the materials are bought and where they are assembled. I personally think the point is moot. If you really want to keep money local, buy from small mom and pop shops that redistribute the wealth more evenly. Big mega corporations horde money: How much of a cash surplus does Apple have?

I have seen lots of posts lately about people complaining about the size of their screen. The 4.7 is too small. The 5.5 is too big. People returning them, exchanging them, and then going back to the original one! . . .

Actually, for me both the iphone 6 and 6+ are too big. The iphone 6 feels bulky in my hand, and my thumb isn't easily able to reach the top of the screen or across it. So I don't want something that's in between those two sizes, but rather something more compact than both.

It's not just a matter of screen size either. The original Moto X had a great form factor in my opinion. With it's narrow bezels and curved plastic back it felt natural to hold.

If I were to consider an Android phone, it would be something like the Sony Z3 compact or the Android Alpha. Actually, after much consideration, I picked up the iPhone s. It feels good in my hand, and while the screen is small, the touch id is worth that trade off. Plus it has a good easy to use camera, and is available on Verizon.

I would buy the product that I believe works best for me regardless of where the company's head offices are. I use products and services made by Apple, Google and Samsung.
