I have the app (and I'm in the UK), but as others have said there is no way to email apps.

The app is only available in the US AppStore and the only way to download it is to use a US iTunes account.

Creating a US iTunes account is fairly straightforward and just requires a valid US address (any valid US address will do); to download free apps (like BBC News) you do not require a US credit card.

The App is not JUST available in the US store. How parochial... It is available worldwide (and def in Australia and New Zealand and prolly most other English speaking countries).

And why if your in the UK would u not just use the better actual BBC website when the app is a much reduced version.

The app wasn't available in the UK until about a week ago, (July 23rd), but now I imagine it is available worldwide as a result.

Either way, as annoying as the new BBC website is on normal computers, it is actually quite nicely designed for the iPad, so I find myself using the app less and less, and the website more and more.

But the app is still useful as it stores all the news stories, so they can be read when offline however. Each to their own I guess.
