To Caudabe or not to Caudabe!

This means Caudabe has dropped off a big shipment of products, but the PO hasn't processed their shipment yet. This is a USPS issue.
My white Paragon (ordered 9/13) came in yesterday morning via USPS.
It visually looks great on the White Titanium, and the grip is solid. However compared to the $15 ESR clear case I was using while waiting on this the Camera Control cutout is much more difficult to use and I am not a fan of it. The little bit that goes between the control and the screen is pretty high, and stiff. Which makes pressing down on it all that more difficult. I may be considering other options as good as this does look. Thinking one of the leather cases that just has a massive cutout there with no strip in between the screen and camera control, or one that is sloped and thinner there.

Could be lost or stolen. Happened to me and others as well. Someone is stealing Caudabe products at USPS. Caudabe sent me another new replacement. If no movement by Monday or Tuesday. It’s gone I would say.
Or you could be missing scans. Sometimes USPS miss scans for large pallets of products, or the products end up at the wrong stations/hubs. They don’t always scan at every point, just like UPS and FedEx doesn’t.
That's my fear. I will wait for movement early next week. Will let all of you know.
Mine is on the way but, not sure if I will install it. Basically got them for free from Caudabe. I ended up buying a $15 screen protector for launch day since Caudabe got lost in the mail. Replacement is still on its way atm. Here is the one I got that has been surprisingly good and fine. I can definitely recommend it.

Was not a promo code. It’s from purchasing from their website over time and building up points.
Actually, I don't know if I just got unlucky, but the first screen protector broke after just a few days... Didn't drop the phone or anything, there was just a small hair-thin crack (which I thought to be a scratch first) and it got bigger and bigger over time...
So I installed the second one and just after installing I noticed a similar scratch/crack on the new one as well...
Maybe it's a quality control issue, maybe I just got unlucky and it was damaged during shipment, who knows. I've contacted support but haven't received an answer, yet...
Got the Sheath for the regular 16 and that thing is thick and much heavier than the Apple silicone case. Deep recess to access camera control button and the texture feels like sandpaper in the hand. I do not get the appeal.
I get their screen protectors and am happy with them. They’ve replaced mine a couple of times when they’ve cracked (which happens with glass screen protectors).
There’s a little bit of a gap but not much.
Sounds like it’s just not for you. I don’t like the texture on the Apple silicone case, but I love the Sheath’s texture. No problems here with the camera control button and I’m on my third (?) week with the case. Works great for me.
The Sheath has gotten both heavier and more heavily textured in recent years. I happen to not dislike the texture, but I can understand why it’s not for everyone. I much preferred the old Sheath before MagSafe and the microfiber lining pushed the weight up to 50 grams which, in my opinion, is far too heavy for a case that purports to be “minimalist”.

I have noticed a weight increase over the years because I've been using the Sheath for a while, but I can't say I've cared much or at all. They're still really light as far as I'm concerned. Last year I ventured further from Caudabe than I have in a while and went on a shopping spree for cases. After a few weeks, I ended up coming back to the Sheath (and Synthesis as well surprisingly) as it checked all the boxes in a way that other cases can't. Weight never occurred to me as something to think about until it was brought up on here and I almost always get the big Pro Max phones. If anything, I remember feeling a really big decrease in overall weight last year owing mostly to the iPhone going from stainless steel on the 14 to titanium to the 15.
That white Paragon looks phenomenal. They did a great job with the design. Mine hasn't come in yet, but I'm excited for it after seeing the other photos on here. If the cutout is like on the Sheath or Synthesis (which appears to be the case) I'll have no problems with it. I regularly use the cutout/button on my Sheath to open the camera app and snap photos. It's worked beautifully for that on both my Sheath and Synthesis. The button itself is growing on me now that I've locked in how to use it.

Support has offered me a replacement, too (see my post above).
But I have to disagree on the „glass screen protectors do break“ part… Ever since I‘ve been using cases with raised lids around the screen, I had been using the exact same screen protector on my iPhone 12 Pro for YEARS!
So I was disappointed when my first „Crystal Shield“ from Caudabe broke after not even a week and the second one had a scratch out of the box…
