Yeah I can probably do that tomorrow. I was sick the last few dayes and did not move out of bed. I know my Case arrived but I did not had energy to test it yet.

Caudabe. = good product with poor ship times
Hard to believe 4 months after the iPhone 17 came out and many products are still on ‘pre Order ‘Status

Has anyone experienced any fit issues with their Sheath cases for the iPhone 17 (or 17 Pro models)?

I bought two Sheath covers for my iPhone 17 in December, and they arrived shortly before Christmas, so I can't complain about the delivery time. However, I have experienced a strange fit error that I have not experienced before on Sheath - and I have had Sheath covers on my 15 Pro, 16 and 16e.

The thing is that the sides of the cover do not fit perfectly. I don't know if it is the sides that are too loose, or if it is the metal buttons that have a bad fit, so they push the sides out of the cover. But it results in that when I grab my iPhone, the sides give a click, as if it clicks in, and when I let go, the sides click out again.

They are a bit difficult to explain. But I will try to upload a video, so you can hear it.

I am in dialogue with Caudabe, who acknowledge the problem. They have apparently had a few covers that behave like this. I have just been lucky enough to get two that do. Until today I have only used one, but then wanted to try the other cover. At first, it sat fine. But after sitting on it for a few hours, the sides also started to click.

I had the same issue, most noticeable between power button and camera control. I also had an uncomfortable seam primarily on the volume button side. It felt like an unrefined product.

@MM301 It sounds like you've been "unlucky" too.

It's such a shame because in my opinion these are the best covers. But it's like the quality has gone down.

I have uploaded a video so I can better illustrate what I mean:

Unfortunately, I have the same issue with Caudabe Sheath case. Click sound/feel when I hold case, most noticeable between camera control and power button.

Hmm. It's starting to seem like this is a general problem with Sheath covers for the 17 series. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? Is it the metal buttons that are too big, so they are squeezing the cover out?

I have a Sheath precise for my 17 Pro Max, no noises, except slight rattle from the buttons.

Caudabe has confirmed that they will send two new ones from the latest batch, free of charge, when they come back in stock later this month, I'm excited to see if the loose edges are fixed. Until then, my iP17 will have to live in a Spigen Enzo Aramid case.
