To Caudabe or not to Caudabe!

Does all 15 pro max sheath has this issue or just isolated case? What abt the synthesis? Do they have this issue too?
Returned my caudabe paragon, case is too bulky for my liking and the sides feel rough not smooth, hard to slide in and out of pocket, doesn't feel like a $50 case imo, more like a $25 case from amazon lol...
How long does it take to be delivered from the US to the UK?
I ordered yesterday but no email about dispatch.

I assume some of you got the email from Cadaube about a new sheath with camera control. anyone going to bite and try it out? I am a bit turned off about their about face on this one. when asked (within the return policy period) if they would ever revise it to include an actual control button, they said no.
I know they can change their mind, but I think that was a disengeneous response and they should offer existing customers more than a 20% off of the new version...or offer a steeper discounted trade up deal.

I got the email. F them for not doing it right the first time and have the nerve to sell it again. I’m certainly not buying another one for it on principle and will be my last Caudabe case. They can take their measly 20% off and shove it! If it was half off with shipping included, then I might have considered it. They could certainly offer that and still make profit.
I'm with you. I sent them email expressing my displeasure which included my original thread which said they were not (at this time) considering including a camera button.
I said I'd be happy to trade it in for a significantly steeper discount. I doubt they will bite, but I think that would show a some good will to faithful customers.
Maybe they will get more complaints how shady it was to do this. Be interesting if they bite…
I’m not sure I get the whole about face thing. I remember asking companies earlier in the year whether they were doing camera control and they all said they didn’t have plans at that time. Caudabe doesn’t seem to have done anything different. Better late than never IMO.
I took the plunge and ordered both a Sheath and a Paragon. Very much looking forward to these. Truth be told, I’d already been fine with my cutout cases, but these look fantastic.

It wasn’t at that time. They said no plans whatsoever. Great job rewarding them though for their shenanigans and why they get away with it.
That was, what, 9 months ago when the iPhone was released? Plans can change, can't they? Either way, I don't get the anger. My cases with the cutout worked just fine and it looks like the only thing that changed was the camera control button. I like their cases in general which is why I'm buying the new ones, but I would be just as happy sticking with what I have already.
Also, why not ask them if they'll do something for you rather than throwing your hands up and b*tching on Macrumors? Their customer service has always been excellent in my experience. Granted, I do buy a lot from them, but it can't hurt to try.

At the time, cases with the revised camera control overlay were appearing on the Apple website. I had informed Caudabe of this, and I had hoped they would delay releasing their cases to implement the changes, but instead, they opted to rush the cases to market and make the changes later.

I agree. Not sure why people continue to support them when viable alternatives have existed for months, at far lower prices (TineeOwl comes to mind).
Have you tried TineeOwl? Maybe I just got a bad one, but I sent it back the next day. It was good for the price, but not something I'd personally use. Reminded me more of the Ringke Slim or whatever it's called. Also a decent case, but clearly more of a bargain buy.
I'm in the same boat more or less. I actually purchased my Sheath on March 19th and reached out to them to inquire about a version with Camera Control before my 30 day return window closed. They didn't reply to me until May 2nd (and after the 30 days elapsed) and all they said was that the Camera Control version was now available for pre-order. I replied to them explaining the situation I was in and they haven't got back to me after 5 days. I agree that 20% isn't enough and to make matters worse, I didn't even get the email about it. I've been using their cases since my iPhone 13 mini and it's frustrating trying to even get an answer from them.
They have purposely delayed replying to you there.
Their CS would reply within a couple of days usually.
What issues did you heave with the Sheath btw? I bought mine the same day the iPhone 16 Pro Max launched and mine was perfect. Were there bad batches or something?
