I suppose I can agree that, in principle, it's somewhat frustrating. UPS could deliver these packages, but they're holding them. Just because the shipper says we're not allowed to have them yet.
HOWEVER, let us not forget that it is not without good reason. Look at what's happening to Apple's servers right now, even WITHOUT a glut of new devices hitting iTunes. Can you even imagine the digital devastation that would occur with the combined wallop of old devices being updated AND all the new devices being synced to iCloud for the first time?
