iPod touch To Target Touch customers..

the plot thickens

I finally broke down and called Target myself. They insist that my order did actually get picked up by UPS on Monday and even went as far as to tell me it shipped out of their MN distribution center. They said I should have it by the end of the week and to call them if I had not received it.

hmmm.. then why doesn't it say "on route to X destination" like it usually does?

Ya Mine was shipped on 9/25 and it is still at the "billing information received" status with an estimated arrival date of 11/12...:confused:? I find it hard to believe that a package could possibly take this long to ship unless its coming over on a slow boat from china;) Called target today and they just said they can't guarantee it will come sooner that that but that ups was supposedly notified to pick up the package.
Great price but we'll just have to wait and see...

BTW: Has anybody's order from target actually shipped (like gotten past billing information received status)?

Nope, definately not true. I'm within 1-day of UPS ground service from both MN distribution centers, which means I would've received it yesterday (I didn't). They're feeding you/us BS.
 
Someone needs to call UPS and fig out what is going on with these extended Billing Received status..

Thank God! I wonder if these will be Week 39s? I still haven't had the status on mine changed. Maybe only the first batch got scanned, they could even be in the process of scanning hundreds of them now. :eek:

Pretty sure that these will be week 38's. Apple is still shipping 38's as of last night. Seeing that it is Wednesday and Week 39 started on Sunday, I would guess that they are 38's... But I sure could be wrong too
 
They're coming from MN eh? I'm in Chicago so hopefully they won't take long to get here.. hopefully before the weekend?

I really hope this time the Touch will be problem free.
 
Yep, mine is now in transit, too, as of 8:31 PM last night, from the Minnesota distribution center. I'm hoping that means I get it tomorrow, even the Target rep I talked to yesterday said that it would be 3-7 business days (+3 days from when I got email saying 3-5 days... sounds like a 5-day bump in the shipping estimate).

Regarding my funky account, apparently Target allows multiple accounts under the same username, so long as they have different passwords. What's up with that?

Crap this sucks i ordered on sept 17 and i still haven't got a shipping notification.
