Enjoy the speeds now...

... because once LTE has a higher adoption rate among the carrier's customers, the speeds will slow down with congestion. :(

You are right but no one wants to believe it - may not happen soon but will if AT&T can't build out which will be limited unless they get T-mob or some more 700MHz spectrum. Likely won't see speed decreases until an LTE iPhone. Verizon could have the same problem but they have a bit more room to grow still.

AT&T had a very robust network until the iPhone. Notice how quickly they got rid of their "raising the bar" campaign? It is better now but how long did it take?

I am enjoying the VZW LTE on my ANDROID and the ATT LTE on my IPAD and hope they both stay nice and fast :D

No, people who didn't bother to get unlimited, will pay, per GB and that will slow it down.

Not everyone was able to get unlimited. My first iPad was WiFi only and when I upgraded to the iPad2, there was no option for unlimited data. I wish there was.

By the time I decided I wanted the first iPad they had just cancelled unlimited data. :(

I understand both sides here. Yes he's being a killjoy, debbie downer as one said and maybe a bit of a douche for pointing this out. At the same time, he might be right (I honestly don't know) and if he is right, well then there's nothing truly wrong with him telling us this. It sucks to hear (read) but that might be how it is.

Just my 2 cents.
