When it instead emerged the Ceramic didn't make the cut for the Series 6, did you settle for the Titanium Edition/other Watch model, or just decide to instead wait for a future Apple Watch?

I went for Titanium last year for the Series 5 and I don’t miss my Series 3 Gray Ceramic one bit. The Titanium Edition is great.

“Settled” for a stainless steel S6. Hoping for future Ceramic release.

i waited.. and am still waiting haha.. didnt want to concern myself with scratches as i'm very sensitive to seeing marks on my watches..

The s6 in Ceramic is the only thing that will get me to upgrade from my s5. I've only had the s5 for about six months or so, but for white Ceramic I'd jump.

I wonder if it takes more time to design the ceramic case. They had it for Series 3. Dropped it for Series 4. Made it available again for the Series 5. Dropped it for the Series 6. Maybe it will make a comeback for the Series 7. If Apple follows the same pattern.

Natural Ti for me.

I do not believe the ceramic will re-return. It’s just not a product That Apple doesn’t capture enough of an audience given its price tag without the name like ‘Hermes’ does for the watch. I’d be curious to see Apple‘s sales figures on the ceramic model, but I suspect it’s probably menial and at the very bottom of all the Apple Watch models given its limited availability in stores and Exorbitant price tag.

this is one of my greatest fears for my favourite case material... we've also heard this same reasoning from s3 to s4 but apple still brought it back for s5.. i do feel it's possibly a victim of pandemic prioritization but fortunately s6 to me is not a major upgrade enough to definitely jump, which allows me to wait 1 more yr... will see how it goes with s7 then...

I am so happy I didn't sell my series 5 ceramic before the announcement! I hope it will be back for series 7. So I ended up ordering the SS gold however I had to end up returning it. I have placed an order for the Hermes but not 100% sure if I want to spend the money on it. I have approx 2 weeks to think about it before it ships.

I sold my S5 Ceramic as I got a cracking price for it. Now wearing a Graphite SS. I do miss the Ceramic as its so different. I would go back if the S7 comes in Ceramic

I personally think purely in aesthetic grounds the graphite and titanium models look so much nicer than the white ceramic. I’m not a huge fan of coloured watches and much prefer a metallic case. I tried the S5 ceramic on in an Apple Store earlier this year and really didn’t get the hype.

If ceramic comes back in the s7, I'm in. I'm actually kind of happy that there is (currently) no ceramic s6. Keeps me from spending even more money. While Apple's pattern with ceramic has been to skip a model between introductions, I could easily see them putting out the ceramic s6 in-between launches of the s6 and s7. Although not with watches, Apple does sometimes drop an upgrade before dropping a new model. And of course, if they do so with a ceramic s6, I have no choice. Not really. I'll buy it. :)

I was hoping for a ceramic S6. Settled for a SS Graphite S6. I did tell myself that if S7 has a new, cool form factor and comes in ceramic, that I'll buy it... but who knows if i'll actually pull the trigger.

Yeah, The white ceramic is a bit too stark. Almost to off-putting to wear in most cases, even though I do think it’s unique. I was a fan of the gray ceramic.

im exactly in the same state as you but.. oh gawd no...buying 2 ceramics (s6 & s7) in a year will kill my wallet.... but like you i have no choice.. i'll also buy it~~

*covers ears trying not to get tempted haha*

i did consider same as you maybe to go SS/Hermes, but i am very sensitive to scratches.. my lifestyle is workout heavy and a previous yr with SS has left it very scratched, which is likely what's gonna happen to my potential SS.. so decided to keep my unique looking ceramic instead haha.. less annoyance and effort to maintain.. SS also doesn't scratch the itch enough for me..

I currently own the natural Titanium AW 5. I had also been waiting for ceramic, but ended up buying the Space Black Titanium AW 6. If they go back to ceramic on AW 7, I‘ll be in. Like so many here!

I think I read somewhere that it takes 2 years for Apple to build enough Ceramic watch cases.

Anybody out there willing to SELL me their Ceramic White Series 5? If not can you point me in the direction of where to buy one? I’ve had no luck in getting one and there aren’t any on eBay U.K.

I’m still using a Grey Ceramic Series 3.

You know, given what Apple charges for the ceramic when it was available, I think what would be a major selling point is if they include AppleCare in that price. Obviously that’s a separate purchase and there’s extended AppleCare for the ceramic Apple Watch model, but if they could bundle a package deal, I think that would probably draw a some-what larger audience, but Apple as we all know, does not À la cart anything when it comes to services. Just a thought, though.
