I don't disagree with most of your points.

On your last note about getting more for your money, it reminds me of the whole agreement over full size laptops (14"/15") vs. ultraportable laptops (11"-13"). People make the same claim that larger laptops have more value: larger screen, bigger keyboard, more ports. But they don't realize that *portability* is an invaluable feature that, to some people, matters the most.

For iPhones, some us prefer a real *mobile* phone over a miniaturized iPad that can make phone calls. Not implying there's anything wrong, just to make a point.
I think I have got more used to the plus over the last year and agree with the portability part. If I could I would have both, but on a daily basis the battery was the main problem after the luxury of the plus battery and I had become too used to that. Love the 6s though.

I learned my lesson with the 6+ it was a lemon IMHO even after 3 replacements it just didn't work as good or as fast as the wife's 6.

Now that the 2GB ram is here that might help, but when iOS 10 comes I bet you anything that the 6S will out perform the 6S+, all those extra pixels (not by much but it would be noticeable to me)

With that being said I'd rather performance over battery life, it's not like you get an extra 1GB RAM or 1GHz with the 6s+ it's the same specs being pushed a little harder with the bigger screen.

After using the 6+ for almost a year, I absolutely hated carrying it around in my pockets. So I got a 6S last week, it makes my pockets very happy.

Now a few days later...

While I don't hate the smaller 4.7" screen, I absolutely missed the larger screen of my plus.

Tried going back to my 6+ today, after a week with my 6S. I found that I loved the big 5.5" screen even more, but hated the feeling of it in my pockets also more.

I'm so torn here :(

We know what your going through.....

While extra battery life is nice, I haven't missed it so far. Even if I do get close to running out, I've got a charger at work, a charger in my home office, a charger by my bed, a charger in my couch, a charger in my car, a charger in my garage, and a 10,400mah Anker battery pack (good for six charges) that was $19 that I keep in my small iPad bag that I often have with me during the week. The convenience of a smaller device makes the 4.7" model so much better for me.
