The bulk of this Keynote is going to be iPhone, v2 software and the App Store. There's no way they'll squeeze some 10.6 demo into the presentation.

So they'll do the rest on the iPhone stuff in late June as promised...

Not gonna happen. Developers are still getting beta versions of OS 2.0 just a week before the keynote, don't expect OS 2.0 to go live until developers get the final version, and probably at least a week after that.

I don't know, it would seem pretty nuts to release the 3G iPhone and delay the 2.0 update. Then again this is all assuming the 3G iPhone will be available immeadiately, or shortly there after.

Either way I have to wait till payday for my iPhone. :(

I'll be living vicariously through all of you until then haha.

... they've already talked a lot about iPhone v2 software and the App Store. I think they may spend as much as a quarter of the presentation on it but most certainly no more... Apple's got to have some more tricks up its sleve...

Mac OS X.6
A tablet?
A iPhone Nano? Maybe an iPhone Jr. like I suggested (a smaller, weaker, very cheap iPhone that's only available with the purchase a full iPhone... it has a joint data plan with its "Parent iPhone".)
Blue-ray?
The revamped .mac.

Just another time update from me for fellow obsessives such as myself..

Exactly 6 days, 16 hours, 14 minutes, and 24 seconds until the keynote starts.

It all goes down 1PM EST June 9th, 2008.

I'm hoping for an OSX iPhone 2.0 release a few hours after WWDC.

You obviously missed the elevator picture with the new iPhone. It happened during the commerical shoot at the 5th Ave store last week.

Also, this picture was crystal clear, there have been advancements on the elevator shots believe it or not. The banners are still to been seen.

I guess I missed it too... unless you were being sarcastic?

Im going to be in an airplane as Steve Jobs gives the Keynote, I guess Ill check the news once I arrive :D

I think people are going to be waiting longer when they see the details but are unable to buy it for however long it takes for Apple to start selling the 3G phones :(

I think so too, but I'm just excited to finally hear the specs and get a firm date. If I've waited 12 months for it, what's another 1-3 weeks?

Hasn't it now been 18 months since the iPhone was first revealed?

Fine I've been waiting 11 months and one week.

I have an iPhone, so for those first 6 months from WWDC 07 till June, I was waiting for it. Not that I'm not totally happy with this one, but we all knew 3G was coming.

I would be surprised if they bumped the sale back yet even longer. Adding another 2.5-3 weeks (Late June) would be almost 60 days since the phones were off of Apple.com

I will not be thrilled if I am forced to wait in line again....this may push me over the edge...and send me back to my blackberry

Which happens to be when my English Final starts.

And your point. Are you actually considering staying for the final. You can always take the class again, but his keynote only happens once.

Come on, get your priorities straight.

So are we liable to see week 25,26,27 issues with the iPhone while
bugs/ quality control issues are worked out.
Perhaps buying one in July/Aug may be better - assuming it is released
nextweek.

Thx.

That image is shopped!

Attached is the original. I got it strait from the source ...

Well, guess I will stick with my Gen 1 iPhone. That thing is huge, or it could just be the different black turtle neck that Steve is wearing. I heard he looks smaller in certain black shirts.

This wait has seemed very long. In March I was about ready to cave and get an iPhone. I feel like it is Christmas Eve back when I was 8. It will be torture if Steve comes out and says it will be available at the end of June.
