Great man in technology. I wish he would have been just as great a father as well.
Steve HELPED make amazing products. But an amazing man he was not. Every read about him? He wasn’t an especially nice person to anyone, in fact he was a pretty mean guy his entire life so for me, nah not an amazing man. But I appreciate his involvement in the iPhone.

He treated his own daughter like crap. Even after acknowledging her existence he really wanted nothing to do with her. She went on a vacation with him once, but only because his current wife put her foot down and insisted that she be allowed to go. Even Bono wondered why he treated her so badly. On his deathbed, she came to see him trying one last time form a good memory of him. He basically told her she smelled like a toilet. Did he do a good job leading Apple? Yes. However, don't act like he was a saint. He was a miserable human being, and it is good that he is no longer on the planet.
It’s not ok. But that doesn’t mean the world wasn’t a better place for having had him in it.So let me get this right. It is ok to mentally abuse a child as long as you get your iPhone. Wow!
SJ was clearly a mentally unstable individual with huge flaws who we should not idolise - but why mischaracterise (== basically lie due to lack of context) ?He treated his own daughter like crap.
