What about max wattage for fast charging?

Woah, 14 Plus to 15 Plus is huge, but not either of the Pro configurations generation to generation 😭

Assuming their methodology is the same, here is how those compare to the 13 Pro Max and 12 Pro Max.

Yes thanks for posting this! Very interesting. What the test doesn’t show at this point, obviously, is if they have improved battery health situation on the 15.

Is there a reason why the Pro phones are improved just by a little, whereas the non-Pro phones have improved a crazy amount?

Tests are useless unless they're fresh out of box units.

I have a launch day iPhone 14 Pro Max and battery capacity claims to be 100%. I guarantee you that's not the case.

Inappropriate testing methodology.

There is zero chance iPhone 15 Plus got 2 hours more battery life compared to iPhone 14 Plus. Official Apple specs say the battery increased by only 1.6%.

are the 14 phones brand new? battery health at 100% across the board?

They're using the numbers for the 14 models from last year's same test, presumably when the phones had new batteries.

That's even lazier than I thought it would be. Website content changes, ads change, 5G coverage changes, etc. Tom's can't just take last year's numbers and compare it today with iPhone 15.

Tomsguide are full of **** . They get their numbers and tables wrong. They don't know the software either

one example "The iPhone 15 Pro doesn’t let you adjust the refresh rate; it’s dynamic. "

WeChat typing (5 mins), WeChat voice messaging (5 mins), WeChat video (10 mins), IT Home surfing (10 minutes), TikTok (10 mins), Bilibili (10 mins), Genshin Impact (10 mins)

Sounds about right for 15 Pro Max. In summary, it looks like A17 Pro offers higher performance, but it's brute forcing it.
