Looking for an iPhone 6+ in Space Gray 64gb or 128gb variety. Been calling T-Mo throughout the week to no avail. IP6 seems to be scarce but attainable, especially in BK, NY.

side note: was interested in financing through EIP plan, so directly from t-mo unfortuneately seems the only way i'm guessing...

Yeah i'm planning on heading out by 6:30, show up at the mall by 7. Im looking to get a normal 6, 128 gb so hopefully its not a problem. Plus, I am returning my plus so im sure they will want to get that inventory.

Unfortunately, Apple won't put that back in their inventory. It's an used phone so they can't sell it as new phone. They may end up using it as refurb/replacement. Apple should have put demos before they released the phones. They have never done it but they should have done it this time. We would not seen so many cases of 6+ returns if they had done so. It would have saved lots of folks the pain of standing in line to return and buy 6 and also reduced agony of people who have been waiting to buy 6+.

Its not a used phone, still in shrinkwrap.

My agony

What are you planning to do with the reservation? Go to the Apple store and look at the box? :p

Apple does not sell the T-Mobile phone on contract through there website. It is full price unlike ATT, Verizon, and Sprint which are subsidized. I wanted to be able to secure the phone until I get to Apple so they can add it to my JUMP T-Mobile plan (which is subsidized).

So I have been trying to get an iPhone 6+ like everyone else and I saw it could be quicker to add it to your cart ahead of time so you don't have to waste time entering all of your info. My question is since you have to enter in your SSN, driver's license, etc. so a credit check can be done. So does every time you add a iPhone to your cart it does a credit check?

I am curious because I am not picky on color of phone so I add all three to the cart and then if one becomes available I remove the other two and try to buy the one available. But sometimes it still disappears before I can finish buying it so I then start over and add the 3 phone options back to the cart. If I keep doing this over and over again in hopes to finally get one does it pull a credit check every time I add a phone to the cart?

P.S. Also this morning I successfully got two devices available at two different stores and was in process of purchasing it for pickup. Each time I got all the way to the final step which is the confirm purchase screen which both times it said the phone was still available for pickup at both stores so I was pretty much good to go. Each time though when I hit the purchase button the apple store errored out and kicked me back to the store. Of course by then the phones were already scoped up and gone. Anybody else have this issue?

yea, that seems to be the issue for many of us. the problem is that the api doesnt reflect the real time status of the inventory. I think it caches the information every 15 minutes. so the inventory may have been already out in the open for a potential 15 minutes before you even know it.

I think the only real time check is the very last step. I've seen a couple times where in my shopping cart it says available for pickup and its gone just 2 seconds later when I try to complete the order.

Nope ......

or just add one line per day thanks

Went to bed at 9pm because I was so dead tired from staying up every night. And then my body woke me up at 1:45am. And of course I thought...."well, since I'm up anyway...."

So here I am again. Waiting for the phone that probably won't come

Why do I feel like we all have less chances tonight because the iPhone was just released in 22 more countries on the 26th :(

Why does the same damn Apple store keep getting stock and not anyone else !!! Every night! And it has to be farrrr away from me!!!

I know, it's like certain stores have special privileges :( It's always this store in Peabody, MA for me called North Shore. And especially the stores in New York City and Boston and other big cities. It's not fair.
