Amen to that!! I suspect we're going to see a sudden rush of them in the next week or two everywhere!! Just in time for the order I did online with Apple to ship... *sigh*....

Has anyone tried adding a new line to your account (to get store pickup), then canceling the line upon pickup and just paying full price for the device?

I tried this just now and they wouldnt let me. Said once they cancel the order, it becomes available online and someone could reserve it. It was mention earlier in the thread that someone did the same thing so I think they gave me some BS.

Basically, it's not impossible but the entire process is a huge headache. I'm still waiting for Apple to reset my eligibility so I can re-purchase with the Next plan. I'm hoping they still have my phone at the store where it's being held at and they didn't already sell it to someone else.

Well, I had exact same issue today. Apple employee tried hard to get it to work but ATT was a pain. Will wait it out and either order online, or go to ATT store. I will say it does give me more time to think about the +. I love my 6 but do like the idea of a bigger screen.

10 days later, and I'm still waiting. Absolutely ridiculous. After several days they finally took me seriously, and now they say I'll get someone to contact me regarding this by Oct 3rd.

Got my 128gb gold Att, gotta drive up to manhattan beach tonight which is about 40 minutes but I'm just happy I don't have to camp out anymore in front of an apple store at 7am, ill try to exchange down to 64gb in the next two weeks but for now I'm a very very happy camper
