Tonight 1am order online for in store pickup Saturday

Thanks everyone for the advice! It was a success, and contrary to what was said earlier, when I got to The Grove there was no line. We shook hands, the sales person took me upstairs, and I explained what I wanted to do (cancel the 2 year contract and pay full price for the verizon 6+ I reserved), and they took care of it. The verizon rep in the store even helped out with the process of cancelling the account. Sweet!

So that is totally possible, if you want to go about it that way. :)
 
YAY! Reserved 64gb plus. Wanted space gray or gold but this will do fine! Im still gonna refresh to see if gold or space gray is available and then i can cancel the silver one lol.
 
There usually isn't a line for the store pick up (it's called Reservations in the store)

The long line is general customers who don't know about this store pickup thing lol
 
CA stores starting to show stock. Well, one store at least. I'm in Central/Northern CA and San Jose just updated.

Does the verzion phone work good on tmobiles network?

i dunno, when i was there he said all they had left were 128GB 6's in all colors and quite a few. never said he had any +'s. but my buddy works for radio shack (lol) and he had one plus left i think that he posted on FB about.

yes. it has all the GSM bands built in and is fully unlocked.
 
Anyone have success of reserving a verizon or att phone with an existing line, but buying the device only once at the store? Not sure if they would be able to make any modifications to the order.
 
Can you reserve more than 1 for store pickup? I'm trying to get one for me and one for my wife. I'm the main account holder.

Refer to my previous posts. You can do this, however some apple reps may or may not know how to handle this process. The process involves,

- Returning the phone
- Repurchasing the phone under NEXT (Upon returning the phone your eligibility should be reset)
- Getting a new SIM card (they will provide this)

I can say this process worked successfully as I ordered my phone online and paid 801.98 (6 Plus 128gb), had it returned, then rebought under the NEXT 18.

Rule of thumb -> DO NOT OPEN THE PHONE. I think this makes it go by much faster. I was getting mad dirty looks walking around an un-opened 6+ (when the rest were sold out)

Exactly the same process they used to convert my in store pickup from 2 year contract to NEXT. :)
