looking for a 6+ 64GB gold T-mobile for pp in ny. Had no luck since 5 days.:(

I have been looking for a 6+ 64GB for T-Mobile too in NYC. Do the T-Mobile ones ever come back in stock? I noticed yesterday that the Verizon 6+ came back in stock online in many NYC stores, too bad we can't reserve it from the site at full price without a contract!

I'm also wondering if there are issues with tmobile on apple's website. Either they aren't getting restocked or not updating in their system...

What time did you see the Verizon 6 Pluses come back in stock? I checked all last night up until 3 AM and this morning around 8AM, but found nothing. Also, were you using apple.com or the Apple Store app?

After getting really tired of trolling the Apple website, I wrote an app to scrape their inventory feed and alert me if it finds the 6 Plus model I want in stock.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure I can't release it publicly due to the way I'm getting at the inventory, but it sure is handy.

I remember someone created a website for the 5s launch that did something similar but I think Apple ended up shutting it down/closed whatever loopehole the site was using.

Yeah, another reason I'm not making it public. However, there's not really a loophole. When you search for stores with inventory on the Apple site it does an AJAX request to a publicly accessible URL to get a JSON feed of stores and stock. I'm using that same source to get the data in the app. The URL has to be public since its your browser making the request and not their server, so I don't see it going away. I just think they'd decline to approve the app, lol.

Some Verizon 6+ 64GB Space Grays popped up around New York and one in California (I'm despirately checking the entire country for updates) around 11 and sold out in about 10 minutes. Still nothing up here in Maine though

Space Grey plus seems to be limited for whatever reason. A white phone this size is way too obvious

Yeah, I just did a search and I found an Apple Store with a Gold 128GB 6 Plus for Verizon. My girlfriend has the gold iPhone 6, and I think it looks great. I still prefer the Space Grey though

I have a 64GB 6 Plus for Verizon scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, but I regret not getting the 128GB. So now I'm trying to see if I can get one.

Just so you guys know phones don't come up in personal pickup unless they have around 5 in stock atleast. If it's just 1 or 2 in the store they won't even show up.

How do you know this? Are we better off going and standing in line at the store?

Just left the Barton creek Apple Store in Austin Texas and was told by an apple employee that tonight at 1am you will be able to order online and reserve for in store pickup tomorrow. She stated that they will be getting a lot of stock tonight.

Not sure if all stores will be doing this but if you are phone less it may be worth staying up til 1am and seeing if you can reserve one!

Just a heads up!

Props to the OP as I was able to obtain my wife's Gold 6+ 64GB on the 20th via store pickup, rather than wait for the Oct 13-20 shipment.

Thanks

I used to work inventory for Apple and during the day it's kind of luck getting a phone at the store. Some days they receive multiple shipments and others they receive nothing.

For those who have done this successfully how long did you have to wait for your pickup email? I placed mine last night and now it's 12:30 with no word. Wondering how soon I should start calling around to see if it got lost in the system

EDIT: Never mind, JUST got the email.

I just want an AT&T 16g 6+ I don't care the color. I am in STL, all I can find is the 6.

Edit to add,

I am just stalking the apple website? Is there a different site that I should be looking at?

I placed mine 4 pm PST yesterday, still haven't received notification to pick up yet

Same thing at my apple store. No more walkups.

I hope this doesn't mean they won't be getting decent sized shipments anymore...

The optimist in me wants to say that it means they're getting the same number of phones but now they will all just go into the reservation system, but the pessimist says "they're sending every phone coming out of China to pre-orders in the US and soon other countries, and stores are about to get screwed"
