... till the time you don't scratch it.

I've never had a problem with scratches on the screen with any of my iPhones, and I've never used a screen protector. I always use a case though. I love em naked but I just don't trust myself enough to keep the whole phone that way.

I had a case-mate screen protector on mine and took it off, the bare screen is so much better imo. Looks and feels so much better. Not had one on my phone for a few months now and still not a scratch.

I'll assume you meant "never." I use a case as well and no screen protector however the very 2nd day of receiving my iPad I ended up scratching the screen a little... not sure how. I'm most likely going to apply a SP on the iPhone 4 once I receive it from VZW.

Try the SGP Oleophobic. No one can tell my iPhone 4 has a screen protector. Terrific. Nothing else compares. You'll never go naked again.

I know what you mean! I put a PowerSupport Anti-Glare on my iPhone 4 before I even turned it on. Once it took it off a month later, it was like a 100% difference in quality!

Haha, that is what I meant.. and I'm usually pretty good and spelling too. Sorry to hear about your iPad, I guess we all just have different usage patterns and expectations about the condition we keep our stuff in. Personally I love having pristine electronics but I won't sacrifice usability for it.

Great article! MacRumors is getting some MSM publicity.

I think I'll take off my screen protector when June rolls around. 1 year with a PS screen protector, then the next year without one. That way when iPhone 6 comes in 2012, I'll have experienced both worlds :p
