hm. confused, Since everything is in my hdd right now, can't I use both? like the ssd for OSX and win 7, while the hdd is for files and such?

Yes. You kind of rephrased what I said. :)

To install the SSD, you're going to have to take something out.

If you're like me, you pull the old HDD and install the SSD in the newly emptied space. If you're not me, you would probably pull the optical drive and use that space to install the SSD using a caddy.

Yeah haha my bad. reason why i'm confused is that my "old" HDD is the one that has all my files and stuff, so by taking it out, i wont be using it both? What's the optical drive?

These Apple-specific tools are not iFixit-exclusive.
Could be bought a lot cheaper from some Chinese websites.

I know, bought the one from amazon. About to return my ssd since 128 is too small for OSX and win7  ... is the optical drive the harddriveim using now?

No, the optical drive takes CD/DVDs.
Or, you mean, is it possible to install SSD to the place of optical drive?
It should be possible with the help of OptiBay. And you will have two hardrives in this case.

Yes, 128 GB is too small for two systems. When people buy it, they usually need only one.
